Use the Log Maintenance screen to manually delete log entries by type or configure automatic log deletion.
- Go to Detections > Logs > Log Maintenance.
 
                    The Log Maintenance screen appears. 
- 
                To delete logs manually:
                - Select the check box for the log type.
- 
                        Click Delete All in the corresponding row.
                         
                            A warning message appears. 
- Click OK to delete all logs for the selected type.
 
- 
                To configure automatic log deletion:
                - Select the check box for the log type.
- 
                        In the Maximum Log Entries column, specify the maximum
                            number of logs that Apex
                                Central retains.
                         
                            Note:By default, Apex Central retains a maximum of 1,000,000 log entries. 
- 
                        In the Purge Offset column, specify the number of logs
                            that Apex
                                Central deletes when the number of logs reaches
                            the number specified in the Maximum Log Entries
                            column.
                         
                            Note:By default, the purge offset value is 1,000 log entries. 
- 
                        In the Maximum Log Age column, specify the age of logs
                            that Apex
                                Central deletes automatically.
                         
                            Note:By default, the maximum log age is 90 days. 
- Click Save.
