Associating Worry-Free Business Security Services customers to Datto RMM managed sites

Procedure

1. Download the Trend_Micro_Site_Variables CSV file.
   1. Go to Administration → Configure third-party integration.
   2. In the Datto RMM section, click Download.
2. Download the Datto RMM SiteVariables CSV file.
   1. Open the Datto RMM Web Portal.
   2. Go to Setup → Global Settings, and locate the Import Site Variables section.
   3. Click Download Template.
3. Edit the Datto RMM SiteVariables CSV file.
   1. Using a CSV editor, open both the Trend_Micro_Site_Variables file and Datto RMM SiteVariables file.
   2. In the Trend_Micro_Site_Variables file, copy the variable name (wfbss_customer_info) and variable value for a customer you want to associate.
   3. In the Datto RMM SiteVariables file, locate the Managed site that corresponds to the customer whose information you just copied.
   4. Paste the variable name into the variable_name column and the variable value into the variable_value column.
   5. Repeat this procedure (steps 2-4) for each customer you want to associate.

      Note The variable name is identical for all customers and can be pasted into multiple rows, but the variable values is unique to each customer and must be pasted individually.

   6. Save the file.
4. Upload the Datto RMM SiteVariables CSV file to the Datto RMM Web Portal.
   1. Open the Datto RMM Web Portal.
   2. Go to Setup → Global Settings, and locate the Import Site Variables section.
   3. Click Choose File.
   4. Locate the edited Datto RMM SiteVariables file and click Open.
      The file uploads to the Datto RMM Web Portal.
   5. Click Save.

   Important After acquiring any new Worry-Free Business Security Services customers, remember to associate them to Datto RMM. You can associate new customers individually by downloading a new version of the Trend_Micro_Site_Variables file and copy the variable_name and variable_value for the new customer. Then, in the Datto RMM Web Portal, open Settings for the corresponding Managed site, and in the VARIABLES section, create a new variable using the copied values.
