After assigning a service plan to a customer, you can customize some settings to fit individual customer needs. The steps below outline how to modify a customer's service plan.

Note:

You cannot modify service plans for trial licenses or plans that have reached End of Life.

  1. On the Customers > {Customer name} screen, select the Licenses tab.
  2. Click the service plan you want to modify.
    Important:

    Following a suite composition change, partners must review and approve all changes before they can modify affected service plans.

    For more information, see Approving Suite Composition Changes.

  3. Modify the service plan settings as required. The following table outlines the settings you can modify for an individual customer's service plan.

    Setting

    Description

    Change Service Plan (button)

    Next to Service plan name, click the Change Service Plan button to upgrade or downgrade the product/service.

    Note:

    This button only appears for products that offer multiple levels of service and only when there are separate service plans created for each level of service.

    Change the service plan (drop-down)

    Next to Service plan, expand the drop-down menu to select a different service plan from the available options.

    Note:

    This drop-down menu only appears for Worry-Free Business Security Services and only when there are multiple Worry-Free Business Security Services service plans created.

    Managing Product/Service

    Select to allow product/service management through the Trend Micro Remote Manager console.

    Units per license

    Choose the number of units to assign in each license.

    License expiration date

    Configure the expiration date of the license.

    Auto-renewal

    Select Yes to auto-renew the service plan at the specified frequency.

    Expiration notification

    Choose when to change license status before expiration date.

    Note:

    The license status is visible in the table when you click Users & Licenses > Customers and then click a customer. The status will change from (normal) to (expiring soon) when the license will expire within the specified number of days and change to (expired) after the expiration date.

    Apply updates

    Choose to apply these changes immediately or on a specified date

    Add-on

    Select Enable to include the add-on feature in the service plan.

    Note:

    This option only appears when an add-on is available for the product/service.
